Thankyou for visiting my website, I am a British Cinematographer specialising in creating evocative naturalistic images, with a portfolio of feature films, short narrative, commercial, music videos and documentary work – this gives me the experience to work on a number of different project types.
My film background started off in documentary 20 years ago covering large scale events all over the world specialising in motorsport and high speed aquisition. During this time I worked on Formula 1, 2 years covering the The British Touring Car Championship as a solo documentary maker creating a series, British and World Superbikes, NHRA Drag Racing and MRC Tuning one of the worlds biggest Audi tuning companies.
I moved into narrative film in the last 5 years to focus on shooting feature films, short films and commercial work and in the last 2 years shot the feature film Running Naked that aired on Sky, Apple TV and Amazon. I have a passion to learn and understand the latest upcoming technologies in filmmaking to stay informed, I relish the planning stage to really work out a cost effective and budget friendly shoot schedule that allows whoever I am working with to get the most out of the production days.
Over the last 3 years I have passionately built an anamorphic lens solution which involved adapting medium format taking lenses to a number of different image sensors. This lens solution has been used on a number of projects to give a bespoke and beautifully crafted unique image.
